As you will be aware the event has been modified to ensure we can adhere to social distancing and the guidelines issued by the government and UK Sport.
**PLEASE FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THE MEASURES THAT WILL BE IN PLACE AT THE EVENT HERE.**
Thank you for your cooperation with the new regulations in place at the event, these are necessary to ensure a safe environment and mean that we can continue to provide race opportunities.
If you have been in an affected place, been in contact with someone with coronavirus or had any symptoms in the last 14 days please refrain from attending the race. For further guidance please visit the NHS website HERE.
**ALL RACE PACKS ARE TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY**
Race Pack Collection
All entries will be assigned a number. To collect your number you need to make your way down to the collection desks on Sunday morning. It will take around 15 minutes to collect your number. The earlier you get there, the more efficient we will be on the day. You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt. If you have your own pins then that would be great but we will have supplies if needed.
Your timing chip will also be in the envelope, this needs to be attached to your shoe as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number on at all times during the race. At the finish you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).We will have queue markers on the floor, so please ensure when queuing you are 2m from another runner.
Marathon – 7:45-8:30am
20 Mile – 7:45-8:45am
Half – 8:00-9:00am
10k – 8:30-9:30am
5k – 9:00-10:00am
When you receive your race packs, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief runner Information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency!
Runners will be set off 4 at a time (2m apart), every 10 seconds.
Our marshals will be on hand to guide you into the start area and ensure social distancing so please make sure you listen carefully to MC instructions and we will get you started as soon as it is safe to do so.
Please listen closely to all marshal instructions and remember to keep a safe distance from the runners around you.
As you can imagine, it will take longer than usual for everyone to cross the line and start their race, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience with us on the day.

There will be one-way systems in place to and from the event village so please ensure you follow all signage and listen to marshal guidance.
Goodwood is located just outside Chichester, only 60 miles from London, and 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton. There is parking available for all competitors in the event car park opposite Goodwood Motor Circuit.
From London: Follow the A3 (Junction 10 on the M25) south towards Guildford. About 3 miles past Guildford, at the Milford turning, take the A283 to Petworth, then the A285 to Chichester for about 6 miles.
From the East: Follow the A27 towards Chichester. At the Tangmere roundabout before Chichester, go straight over. Take the exit signposted Guildford/Petworth. Go right at the first roundabout, and straight over the second roundabout.
Follow the road until you reach the second left, signposted Lavant. Turn left here and follow the road down to the second cross roads. Turn right, following the brown signpost for the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
From the West: Follow the A27 to Chichester. At Chichester, stay on the A27 bypass/ring road. After the only set of traffic lights, take the second exit at the next roundabout signposted Goodwood. At the next roundabout take the second exit.
Nearest station: Chichester
There is a regular service from London Victoria to Chichester (1hour 40 minutes), plus the coastal service from Brighton and Portsmouth. Buses or taxis are available at Chichester Station.

Goodwood Motor Circuit is easily accessible by bicycle and there will be bike racks available at the venue for you to lock up your bike during the race.
There will toilets available within the event village. There will also be toilets available to use during your race, right next to the race route.
There will be multiple hygiene stations around the event village and start/finish area for all participants to use throughout the event. These will have hand sanitiser, tissue and bins for the disposal of any tissue or litter.
During the race
The entire course is on the Motor Circuit itself. Each mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish.
The Miles for the Marathon, 20 Mile and Half Marathon distances will be marked out with countdown signs of how many miles you have left until the finish. Marathon runners you will see signs counting down from 26 miles to 1 mile to go. 20 Mile runners you are looking for signs counting down from 20 to 1 miles to go. Half Marathon runners you are looking for signs saying 13 miles to go down to 1 mile to go.
There will be red KM signs from 1-4 for the 5k and 1-9 for the 10k.

- 5k – 1 lap
All distances will have an out and back section at the start of each race before completing the laps stated above.
Spitting and nasal clearance during the race is NOT permitted.

Please bring your own water to the event to avoid congestion on the course, there will be a limited amount of water at the water station on every lap. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead up to the event.
Please limit the number of belongings you bring to the event and if possible leave anything in a car. This is in order to reduce contact between runners and staff. There will be an informal self-service bag drop area within the event village for runners who need it.
Non-essential spectators are strictly banned at the event. Entry will be refused and they will be asked to leave if present. This includes the event village and all areas of the course. The venue will be enforcing this on the day. We are sorry for the inconvenience but due to our COVID-19 protocols in place at the event we need to limit the people attending the event to be participants only.

Free lateral flow tests are now being offered by the Government for everybody in the community to help stop the spread of COVID-19. These can even be ordered to your home, further information can be found HERE.
After the race
Do NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.
There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal, RT Kit Socks, Love Corn and Kind Snack bar which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.
We ask that once you have collected your medal, RT Kit socks, snacks and water to leave the event village as soon as possible to avoid groups congregating within the event village.
