9.00am – Marathon (Please note there is a strict 6 hour cut off time)
9:15am – 20 Mile
9:30am – 16 Mile
10.00am – Half Marathon
10:30am – 10k
10:45am – 5k

Please note: you will be set off in waves based on the estimated finish time entered at the checkout.  

As you will be aware the event has been modified to ensure we can adhere to social distancing and the guidelines issued by RunBritain and UK Sport.

Thank you for your cooperation with the new regulations in place at the event, these are necessary to ensure a safe environment and mean that we can continue to provide race opportunities.

Race Packs 

All entries made before Friday 27th November will be sent race packs in the post.

If you DO NOT receive your pack by the end of the day on Friday 4th December please get in touch and let us know at [email protected]

You will not be able to run without a race number and chip.

NO CHIP MEANS NO TIME.

When you collect your race packs, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief runner Information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency!

 

If you have COLLECT next to your name on the entry list, a race pack will be waiting for you to collect from the event village before your race.

To collect your number you need to make your way down to the collection desks at the following times:

Marathon: 7.45am-8.30am
20 Mile: 8:00am-8:45am
16 Mile: 8:15am-9:00am
Half Marathon: 8:45am – 9:30am
10k: 9:15am – 10:00am
5k: 9:30am – 10:15am

Please give yourself plenty of time to minimise queuing on the day.

If you received your pack in the post you do not need to go to the information or collections desks.

Race Start 

Runners will be set off 2 at a time (2m apart), every few seconds.

Our marshals will be on hand to guide you into the start area and ensure social distancing so please make sure you listen carefully to MC instructions and we will get you started as soon as it is safe to do so.

Please listen closely to all marshal instructions and remember to keep a safe distance from the runners around you.

As you can imagine, it will take longer than usual for everyone to cross the line and start their race, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience with us on the day.

Travel

By Car

Situated next to Little Budworth and is best accessed from the A54 or the A49. From the north take junction 19 off the M6 and follow the A556 through Northwich towards Chester, from the south leave the M6 at junction 18 and follow the A54.

There is plenty FREE parking available in the main event car park, just a minutes walk from the event village.

Toilets

There will be toilets available within the event village.  There will also be toilets available to use during your race, right next to the race route. See map HERE.

Hygiene Stations

There will be multiple hygiene stations around the event village and start/finish area for all participants to use throughout the event. These will have hand sanitiser, tissue and bins for the disposal of any tissue or litter.

During the race

The entire course is on the Motor Circuit itself. Each mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish.

The Miles for the Marathon, 20 Mile 16 Mile, and Half Marathon distances will be marked out with countdown signs of how many miles you have left until the finish. Marathon runners you will see signs counting down from 26 miles to 1 mile to go. 20 Mile runners you are looking for signs counting down from 19 to 1 miles to go. 16 Mile runners you are looking for signs counting down from 15 to 1 miles to go. Half Marathon runners you are looking for signs saying 13 miles to go down to 1 mile to go. There will be blue KM signs from 1-4 for the 5k and 1-9 for the 10k.

Marathon – 10 laps
20 Mile – 7 laps (with an out and back at the start)
16 Mile – 6 laps (with an out and back at the start)
Half Marathon – 5 laps
10k – 2 laps (with an out and back to start)
5k – 1 lap (with an out and back to start)

Spitting and nasal clearance during the race is NOT permitted.

Refreshments

Please bring your own water to the event to avoid congestion on the course, there will be a limited amount of water at the water station on every lap. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead up to the event.

Baggage

The car park is right next to the event village so we advise leaving valuables within your vehicle. However, we will have an informal bag drop area where you can safely leave minimal belongings whilst you run. This is in order to reduce contact between runners and staff.

Spectators

Please be aware that due to social distancing and restrictions enforced upon us we ask that you do not bring any spectators with you to the event.

After the race

Do NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.

There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal, t-shirt and Kind Snack bar which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.

We ask that once you have collected your medal, t shirt, snacks and water to leave the event village as soon as possible to avoid groups congregating within the event village.
